My Story

Welcome to Finding Hope

From Pain to Purpose—You’re Not Alone
*A ministry of healing, mentorship, and hope.*

My name is Laurie Amber—and this is more than a ministry. It’s a movement born from pain, resilience, and redemption.

By the age of ten, I had already endured trauma, addiction, and abandonment. I spent years searching for help, only to be met with rejection. By thirty-five, I became a statistic in the state of Florida—not because I lacked the will to change, but because I couldn’t find the support I needed.

But grace found me. And I found purpose.

Today, I hold:
• Associate of Arts in Business
• Associate of Science in Domestic Violence
• Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Organizational Management

For the past sixteen years, I’ve mentored and coached women through life’s most difficult transitions. I use evidence-based frameworks like:
• Trauma-Informed Care

* DBT Techniques
• Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP)
• Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs)
• Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs

Mission & Values
What We Believe

At the heart of Finding Hope is this belief:
Healing is holy. Leadership begins with restoration. Legacy is built through empathy.

We serve women who are ready to:
•     Reclaim their voice
•     Reframe their story
•     Rise into purpose
Our work is rooted in:
•     Trauma-informed care
•     Spiritual depth
•     Emotional clarity
•     Creative leadership
•     Generational healing
This is not self-help. This is sacred work.

 The Finding Hope Pathway
Our Signature Framework

The Finding Hope Pathway is the framework that undergirds everything we do. It’s a five-stage journey that mirrors the arc of transformation I’ve lived—and now guide others through.
List:
•     Awakening – Recognize the wound and the call
•     Reframing – Transform ridicule into wisdom
•     Restoring – Build emotional clarity and spiritual strength
Leading – Step into purpose with empathy and authority
•     Multiplying – Create legacy through mentorship and ministry

Why I Lead
Because I’ve Lived It

Because I know what it’s like to feel invisible.
Because I’ve walked through grief, betrayal, and reinvention.
Because I believe every woman carries a sacred story—and that story deserves to be honored, healed, and shared.
I lead with faith, creativity, and fierce compassion. I don’t offer quick fixes. I offer presence, process, and purpose.

Here are a few promises for you:

1. Jeremiah 30:17
“But I will restore you to health and heal your wounds,” declares the Lord, “because you are called an outcast, Zion for whom no one cares.”
→ Speaks directly to your heart for the abandoned and unseen. It affirms your calling to restore what the world has overlooked.
2. Psalm 147:3
“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.”
→ A gentle, universal promise that mirrors your ministry’s emotional and spiritual depth.
3. Isaiah 61:1
“He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim freedom for the captives and release from darkness for the prisoners.”
→ This one feels especially aligned with your work in corrections and your mission to guide women out of emotional captivity.
4. 1 Peter 2:24
“By His wounds you have been healed.”
→ A powerful reminder that healing is not just possible—it’s already been paid for.ive

Give God a chance to show you His love!
