My name is Laurie Amber. For years, I sought help to change my life and my behavior but often encountered abandonment and rejection. 

     By the age of ten, I had already endured trauma and lived a life filled with abuse, dysfunction, and addiction. By the time I turned thirty-five, I became a statistic in the state of Florida because I could not find the help I needed. Today, I am proud to hold an Associate of Arts in Business, an Associate of Science in Domestic Violence, and a Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Organizational Management. 

     For the past sixteen years, I have mentored and coached women as they transition from one phase of life to another. I use case management techniques to coordinate and integrate the necessary support services for my clients. I guide them through methods such as Wellness Recovery Action Plans (WRAP), Trauma-Informed Care, Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs), and Maslow's Hierarchy of Needs to help progress from one stage of life to the next.

    The moment I realized I was meant to help others find their path in life was the moment I truly felt free. I discovered a way to share hope with those around me!

      Finding Hope is a ministry where one can find someone who cares during life's most difficult moments. This website was created to be a safe place to reach out and ask for help.
